Overview

What is the best way to open young adults eyes to the world of languages? One word, food. 75% of 16-24 year olds order takeaway food at least once a month. But what does this have to do with learning a language?

Approach

Duolingo will implement a gateway down the language rabbit hole by integrating the basics of languages into Just Eats online order process. Consumers are invited to learn whilst they wait for their meal and encouraged to practice with their delivery driver upon arrival. Whilst other forms showcase local takeaway locations in their cuisines native language.
